Greater Still is the Light That Comes from Darkness: Kabbalah's Hidden Wisdom

Great is the light. Greater still is the light that comes from darkness.

That expression comes from a Jewish school of mysticism, Kabbalah. What does it mean?

Great is the light. Of course, we celebrate the light. And in this case, we're talking about spiritual light. The light that lights us up. The light that connects us with Source.

Greater still is the light that comes from darkness.

When a light emerges from a dark time in your life, it shines even more brightly. You see this not only in the Kabbalah, but throughout all lineages. You see this basic truth that, within each dark time, within each dark event, there is a spark of light that if we blow on it, light it up, becomes even brighter than light itself.

So in your darkest times, look for that spark of light. You may be surprised how bright that light can grow if you just blow on the ember and let the flame erupt.

Even in your darkest times, there's a brilliant light waiting for you to notice it.
